Job Description: The fire control repairer is primarily responsible for supervising and performing maintenance on combat vehicles, and infantry and artillery fire control systems and equipment. Job duties include: maintain and repair commander’s weapon station/auxiliary sights, aiming circles, image transfer assemblies, quadrants, mount assemblies and fire control support equipment; maintain and repair laser range finders, ballistic computers, laser observation devices, thermal imaging systems and telescopes; perform battlefield damage assessment and repair.
