Reviews

Pros: Builds leadership skills and critical thinking skills.

Cons: None

Review:

This MOS is one held in high regard among all Soldiers. Their is a level of morale that Tankers experience from working so closely together that can’t be replaced. We take a lot of pride in what we do, because we are the most lethal direct fire troops in the world. We move faster and shoot further than anyone else who is in the midst of the battlefield.

Pros: Earning your place among tankers. Being apart of a crew. Having your weapon/gear carry you.

Cons: It’s a lot of hard work and is hard on the knees. There is sometimes long hours.

Review:

Being a armor crewmember is exhilarating and tough. There are days we put long hours in but after we do we feel accomplished. You become a member of a very tight family, because in order to be an effective tank in the fight you have to work as one. You either start out as a loader or driver. You work up to gunner. And then a tank commander. There is a lot of stuff you learn from the job and the people you work with. The only thing is, is that if you join to become a tanker for the wrong reasons you will hate the job. “Best job i ever had” -fury
