Job Description: The quartermaster and chemical equipment repairer are primarily responsible for supervising or performing maintenance on chemical equipment, quartermaster machinery, forced air-heaters and special purpose equipment. Job duties include: maintain and repair electrical/fuel heater systems, pumps, decontamination systems, protective filter systems, reverse osmosis water purification systems, laundry washer/extractor systems and dryer/tumbler systems; service internal combustion engine ignition/fuel/cooling/electrical systems; perform damage assessment and repair.
